Link toMethod
[0-10]
Methodsmaybe linked together allowing the
CobraL\S to runmultiplemethods in a
continuous process. Note: Circular linkage of a
singlemethod isallowedproviding for continu-
ous sampleoperations. When themethod
parameter is set to "0", theCobraL\Swill only
run the one selectedmethod.
SeeSection6.3.2 for an example of MethodParameterSetupvalues. TheMethod example
maybeused formost sample situations.
6.3 UtilizingStandardSolutions
TheCobraL/S allows standard solutions tobe automatically added to the sample injection. The
syringewill first fillwith standard solutionand thenmove to the samplevial andpull up the sample
into the syringe. Both sampleand standardwill thenbe injectedasone“sample”.
Standards are loaded into the tray in the far right vial column, vial positions 113 to120. When a
StandardVolume is programmed, the syringewillmove to the standardvial position along each row
of sample. As an example, all samples processed invial row#1will useposition#113 as the stan-
dard location. All samples in row#2will useposition#114 as the standard location. This pattern is
used all theway to row#8Standardposition#120. What thismeans is samples
CANNOT
be
loaded in locations 113 -120, this is reserved for Standards
ONLY
!
Thismethodworkswell for injectionmethods into single injectors and in thedual injectmode [A+B]
(see Inject Target parameter inSection6.2). It does notwork in the dual injectmode [A&B] because
the sampleand standardarenot sufficientlymixed in the syringe.
