8.2 MaintenanceMenu
Maintenancemenudisplays thecurrent Firmware revisioncodeand thePlunger count. This isuseful
inknowing the lifecycleof aTeflon tip style syringeplunger. Thecount canbe reset byusing the
Left/Right arrowkeys. To exit themenupress theHold/Stopkey.
8.3 DiagnosticsMenu
CAUTION: Only trained personnel should operate theCobraL/Swhenever theDiagnostics
menu is accessed. Damage to the syringe, sample vials and/or chromatography instrument could
be severe if untrained personnel attempt touse thismenuwithout a complete understanding of is
purpose!
Thismenuwill allow the
trained
operator tomove theFront/Back,Vertical, Plunger andRight/Left
axis. Additionally, themotormovement parametersmaybechanged. Theseare thebeginningand
ending ramping and the final speed settings.
NOTE: If thismenuhasbeenaccessed, themenu
line"EnterToTest", will cause eachaxis tomoveuntil theStopkey is pressed!
8.3.1 RelayOutputTesting
Additional diagnostic information isavailable for relay testing. Theseare theGC/Data,Auxiliaryand
SpareOutput relays and the Input signal data. This information isuseful for determining if oneof the
output relays isnotworking. Relaysmaybewired for normallyopenor normallyclosed, theclosure
is for .5 seconds. The default setting is in theN.O.mode.
From theDiagnosticsmenu, scroll, using theUP/Down arrowkeys, to the relaydesired for testing,
press the enter key. The displaywill show the selectedoutput, i.e....GC/DATAStart, Enter to test,
Stop to exit.
Topreform the test be certain the I/O cable is properly connectedor aVOMmeter is set to the
correct position to test the output. Follow the instructions on the display.
8.3.2 Input SignalTes

This screen allows theGC ready signal tobe tested. Thenormal state shouldbeOFF, once an input
signal is received, theOFFwill toggle toON. The screen line "Spare7" is an indicator showing that
the spare (theseare signal line inputs for futureuse) signals are floating "high."
8.3.3 MotorDelay
