3. Right click on the chromatogramover
the unnamed peak and select
Inte-
gration
from the resultingmenu.
4. From the integrationwindow locate

AreaReject
dialogue box, erase
the 100.0 in thebox, and add the
number
1.0
to the dialoguebox. Click
OK
and the integrationwindowwill
exit.
5. Press the
Enter
or
Return
key on
your keyboardand the smaller peak
will nowbe recognized asBenzene.
Manual Integration
1. Tomanually adjust the integration
baseline andpeak separation in a
chromatogramuse themanual inte-
gration toolbar provided byPeakSim-
ple. To open up themanual integra-
tion toolbar select
Edit
in thePeak-
Simplemenu bar and then click
on the
Manual Integration
option.
Themanual integration toolbar will
nowappear to the left of the chro-
matograph.
2. Themanual integration toolbar
contains nine types ofmanual in-
tegrationoptions. Four of themost
commonly used options are
None
integration,
Drop
integration,
Based
integration, and
Rubber
Band
integration.
