2.0 Installation
2.1 InstallationProtocol
Thecomplete installationof theCobraL/S includes the following steps:
1. Unpack theAutoSampler andmakecertainall parts and supplies areavailable.
2. Install themountingbracket to theGCper separate instructions.
3. Install theAutoSampler onto themountingbracket.
4. Install the cable from theDisplay/KeypadTerminal box to the rear of theCobraL/S, seeFigure
2.0.
5. Connect theRemote I/O cable between theAutoSampler and theGCor data system. See
Section 9.0.
6. Connect the power supplypower cord to the rear of theAutoSampler and thenplug themain
power cord into a groundedAC power source.
7. Install the syringeassembly. SeeSection4.1.
8. Perform theSetup andTarget Setupprocedures (some of thesemay require removal of the
syringe.) Verify the initialmountingbracket alignment to the injectionport on the
chromatograph. See Section 5.0.
