LaunchPeakSimple software. You do
not need theA/D hardware connected,
but it isOK if it is.
Load an example chromatogram from
thePeakSimple folder. If you have in-
stalledPeakSimple version 3.65, then
thePeakSimple folder will most likely be
c:\peak365. To load the example chro-
matogram use yourmouse to click File/
Open and then the filename. For this
tutorial, load the file named 602.chr.
Theremay already be aComponent ta-
ble loadedwith associated retentionwin-
dows. For this tutorial wewant to start
from scratch ( no pre-existing compo-
nent table or retentionwindows )
so let’s delete theComponent ta-
ble.
Clickwith your
mouse onEdit/
Channels. This
will open the
Channels
screen. Click
on the box la-
beledCompo-
nents.
Thiswill open
theChannel 1
Components
screen.
Click the button
labeledClear.
Then return to
themain
screen.
