Performing Internal StandardCalibration using
PeakSimple version 3.51
Open theLevel 2 chromatogram ( File/
Open ) or inject theLevel 2 standard
andallow the run toend. ( you can’t
calibrateuntil the run is over ).
Point to theGlycerinpeakand right
click. From themenu select Calibrate
Glycerin.
This timewhen theRecalibration
screenappears, select theLevel 2
radiobutton.
When theCalibration curve screenap-
pears, clickAccept Newand the ratio
between the
Level 2
Glycerin and
Butanetriol
Internal
Standardwill
beautomati-
cally in-
serted in the
Level 2 cell.
Note that the
old value
( theesti-
mated value
we entered
previously )
isnot lost
but is shifted
one cell to
the right.
