The ignitor is secured in theFID
body using a 1/4” soft graphite fer-
rule.
Position the blade of the ignitor
close tobut not touching the jet.
Notice that the blade of the ignitor
tilts slightly backward. The tilt po-
sitions the tip of the blade just
slightly behind and below the tip of
the jet. As you tighten the graphite
ferrule use themagicmarker line
to beSURE the ignitor does not
twist as you are tightening the nut.
If the blade twists against theFID
jet the blademay snap.
