Description
TheVICI universal actuatormodelsaredesigned toworkwithboth twopositionand
multipositionvalves,withanynumberofports. This isaccomplished through simple
programmingvia themanual remoteor theoptional serial,BCD,orUSB interface. The
actuator consistsof a singleunithousinga steppermotor/gearboxassemblyand the
control components,auniversal AC input (100-240VAC,50-60Hz) to24VDCpower
supply,amanual remote,and the interconnectingcables.

Mounting
Theactuator shouldbeoriented so that anypotential leakageof liquid from thevalveor
fittingsflowsaway from rather than into theactuator.
PowerConnector
Inputpower (24‑28VDC) is supplied
throughacoaxial connector: the
innerpin is+voltageand theouter
pin isground. Theaveragecurrent
requirement is2.1amps; standby
currentdraw is60milliamps.
Theactuator shouldnot share
apower supplywithothernoise-
sensitiveelectronics,as the
highcurrentdrawcouldcause
problems.
