We used theTemperature program
andEvent table shown at right for this
analysis. Nitrogen carrier was set at
20psi on theGC. The two columns
were 2meter Haysep-D and2meter
Haysep-N in series. TheHaysep-N
was the upstream columnwith the
valve in the INJECT position.
A chromatogram such as the one
shown should result from the injection
of a calibration gas standard contain-
ingCO, CO2, methane, ethane, eth-
ylene and acetylene. TheTCD
measures hydrogen and oxygen,
while theFID/methanizer showsCO,
CH4, CO2 and
theC2 com-
pounds. This
chromatogram
was run using
nitrogen carrier
gas.
