maximum temperature.
Rtx®-1301 (G43)Columns
(fusedsilica)
(low tomidpolarityphase; Crossbond®6% cyanopropylphenyl/94%dimethyl polysiloxane)
• General purpose columns for residual solvents, alcohols, oxygenates, and volatile
organic compounds.
• Temperature range: -20 °C to280 °C.
• Equivalent toUSPG43phase.
Manyanalysts feel theRtx®-1301 columnhas thebest cyanosiloxanebonded stationary
phase available, withnoother columnmanufacturerproviding lower bleed, longer life-
time, or better inertness. Our polymer is fully characterized to ensure long-term repro-
ducibility,column-to-columnconsistency,and lowbleed—evenwith sensitivedetectors
such as ECDs andMSDs.

Rtx®-624Columns
(fusedsilica)
(low tomidpolarityphase; Crossbond®6% cyanopropylphenyl/94%dimethyl polysiloxane)
• Application-specific columns for volatile organic pollutants.Recommended inUS
EPAmethods for volatile organic pollutants.
• Temperature range: -20 °C to240 °C.
• Equivalent toUSPG43phase.
Theuniquepolarityof theRtx®-624columnmakes it ideal foranalyzingvolatileorgan-
ic pollutants.Although theRtx®-502.2 column is recommended inmanymethods, the
Rtx®-624 column offers better resolution of early eluting compounds. The Rtx®-624
phase produces greater than 90% resolutionof the first six gases inEPAMethods 8260
and524.2.This stationaryphase is especiallywell-suited forEPAMethod524.2 revision
IV since it resolves 2-nitropropane from 1,1-dichloropropanone,which share quantifi-
cation ionm/z 43 andmust be separated chromatographically.
