Operation of theCobraAutosampler on the
8610V gas chromatograph
ClickView/Relay/pumpwindow to
display the statuswindowwhich
shows the state of the eight avail-
able relays. TheCobra autosam-
pler usesRelayB andRelayH.
RelayB is theCobra enable con-
trol. When you click on
RelayBwith your
mouse theCobra is en-
abled. If RelayB is not
clicked theCobrawill
not operate.
RelayH inhibits the
GCs ready light from
coming on. TheCobra starts its
injection sequencewhen theGC
ready light comes on. If the ready
light is not inhibited during the
analysis theCobramay start an-
other sequence in themiddle of
the analysis.
Enter anEvent table similar to the
one at right. Note that RelayH is
turned on at .01minutes and
turned off at 13.99minutes ( just
before the analysis end time ac-
cording to the example on the pre-
vious page ). If your analysis time
is different youwill have to adjust
the timeRelayH turns off to just
before the analysis ends.
