filterpaper inside thecapillary tubing.

volume-sensitivearea immediatelypreceding thecolumn, thesefilters
usually feature smaller thru-holesand smaller fritdiameters. Incontrast,
InlineFiltersareoftenplacedwhere the internal volume isnot as critical
andwhere longer lifeand lessfluid restriction ismore important.
