Stabilwax®-DBColumns
(fusedsilica)
(polar phase; Crossbond®base-deactivatedCarbowax®polyethyleneglycol—for amines and
basic compounds)
• Application-specific columns for underivatized amines andother basic compounds,
including alkylamines, diamines, triamines, nitrogen-containingheterocyclics.No
need for columnpriming.
• Temperature range: 40 °C to220 °C.
Stabilwax®-DBcolumns reduceadsorptionand improveresponses formanybasiccom-
pounds, without analyte derivatization or column priming. For different selectivity of
basic compounds, or higher oven temperatures, use anRtx®-5Amine column.
Stabilwax®-DB is a bonded stationary phase, but avoid rinsing these columns with
water or alcohols.
