1. DETTower structure mounts onto SRI FID base –
includes a ceramic tipped jet and features a
concentric cylinder geometry for streamlined gas
flowand efficient ion collection.

DETCeramic Ion Sources or BareWire FIDProbe
mount into end of DET tower for easy changes of
multiplemodes of selective or universal detection.
3.
DET Ion Sources with bare wire terminations can
be powered by theSRI NPDpower supplywith screw
driver setting of ion source heating. A stand-alone
DETCurrentSupplyprovides finer control ofheating
powerand polarizationvoltages forDET IonSources
that terminate in a Twinex electrical connector.
(These are the same standard ion sources as used
on Agilent 6890/7890 GCmodels.)
