Antiepileptics
Laboratories thatperform therapeuticdrugmon-
itoring tests analyze antieplileptic (anti-convul-
sant) drugs using either GC or HPLC because
immunoassays donot exhibit linearity and show
cross reactivities in the toxic range. Common
antiepileptics are resolved using an Rtx
®
-20 or
Rtx
®
-1701GC column.
