Toprevent loss of communications
the installation of a0.1uf capacitor
and a groundingwire to theA/D
data system (302or 333)may be
necessary. Toperform thismodifi-
cation youwill need a0.1 uf ca-
pacitor, a 1000ohm 1/2watt resis-
tor, a lengthof insulatedwire,
shrink wrap (or electrical tape) and
a soldering iron. These parts can
be obtained fromSRI Instruments
for little or no charge.
Gain access to the insideof the
GC by removing the six screws
that hold the chassis to thebase
plate of theGC. Tilt theGC up on
its side. TheA/D board is located
on the far right of theGC.
Remove the 4 hex screws, located
on the outsideof the chassis, that
secure theA/D board to the chas-
sis by usinga 5/64” allenwrench.
Pull out theboard so that you can
work on it.
