Removing theECD detector from anSRI 8610CGC

Remove the bottom cover of theGC
( six screws ), then tilt theGC on its
back for access to the inside of the
GC.
Follow the thermo-couple and heater
wires inside theGC to the circuit
boardwhich controls theECD heat.
Remove the circuit boardby loosen-
ing the captive screwwith a flat blade
screwdriver.
Also remove the twoPhillips head
screwswhich hold the circuit board in
from the back of theGC.
Locate the 3 thermocouple and two
heater wireswhich are tied together
and labeledECDHT ( ECDHeat ) as
shown in the photo.
