Because it is very expensive to ship
the radioactiveECD detector interna-
tionally, it is best to remove from the
GC before shipping theGC back to
the factory for service ormodification.
Remove the twoBNC cables from the
ECD.
Before you do, use amagicmarker to
identify theAnode andCathode so
you don’t mix them upwhen you re-
assemble.
