applications involving the separationofbiomolecules. High saltbuffers can
corrode stainless steel,and themetal ions released frommetallicfiltersmay
contaminateorotherwise reactwith thebiomoleculesof interest.
TheNo-Metpolyethylenefilter isdesigned for theseapplications,with inert
polymericfittingsand20µmfilter effectivelyeliminatingmetal contamination
from thefluidpath. Use them for ICandbiochromatographyapplications.
Because theyarehydrophobic,No-Metfiltersmay initially require somepriming
withmethanol or acetonitrile.
