LastDropmobilephasefilter
TheLastDropmobilephasefilter allowsmoreanalysesperbatchofmobile
phaseandhelps reducehazardouswaste. Theflatfilter element sitsparallel to
thebottomof the reservoir,allowing theLastDrop tofilter all but the last 2%
of themobilephase from the reservoirwithoutdrawingair into the system.
Compare thiswithconventional cylindrical filters that canbegin todrawair into
the systemwhennearly10%of the solvent remains in the reservoir.
TheLastDropmobilephasefilter consistsof a316 stainlessorPTFEfilter element
pressed intoan inertPTFEhousing. The topof thehousinghasaPEEK tripod
which slips into1.5,2.2,or 3.5mm IDpump inlet lines. Itwill alsoworkwithour
1/16" and1/8"flangelessfittings.
Use themetal-freePTFEversion for sensitivebiochromatographyapplications
wheremetal surfacesmaycorrodeor interactwith samples.
