GCthe right hand side of
heGC's column oven has
4 identical detector
mounting locations
Locations where no
detector is installed are
supplied withblank cover
plates
FIDdetector installed
Replace oneof the blank
cover plates with the
ransfer LineMounting
Plate ( SRI part#8670–
9836 ) by removing the
two
screws at the base of
the plate. Thenuts on the
underside
of
the chassis
must beaccessed by
removing thebottom plate
of
theGC, The heated
transfer line is then lightly
secured to the plate with
he hose clamp so that the
heatedportion of the line
penetrates into the
column oven so that cold
spotsare eliminated
