Open theModel 202
Verify that theModel202 ispoweredOFFandunplugged. Remove the thumbscrewsonbothsidesof the
Model202boxandslide the topcoverupandoff. It isconnected to thebottomof theboxby thegroundwire,
so justset itnext to thebottomhalfof thebox. There isawiringdiagramof theModel202circuitboardsand
allwiringconnectionsontheinsideofthetopcover. Usethiswiringdiagram(shownbelow)tocompletesteps
1-4asdescribedon the followingpages, thenproceed tosteps5&6 .
The
Model 202
maybeusedwithanybrandormodel ofGCorHPLC
offeringananalogdetectoroutputsignalrangingfrom-5V to+5V. It includes two
independent,programmablecontrols(-5V to+5Vanalogoutput)for temperature
&pressureorHPLCgradientformation. TheModel202hasfourchannels,which
canbe split anywaybetween the two timebases (TIMEBASE1 and2). Two
remotestartinputscompatiblewith2-wireswitchclosures(typicallyoutputbyGCs
andHPLCsasaremotestartsignal)arealso includedforyouroptionaluse.
