oven. Thebasicmodel, shownbelow,comeswithaTCDdetector. TheMG#2mayoptionallybeequipped
withaFID/methanizerorHIDdetectors inaddition to theTCD. Acapillarycolumn inparallelwith the
Hayesep-Dcolumn isanoptionforseparatingouthydrocarbons throughC

TheMG#2separatesawidevarietyofpeakswithoutco-elution
by turning thecarriergas flow to the twopackedcolumnsONand
OFFindividuallyatdifferenttimesduringtherun. Thecarriertothe
Molecular Sieve 13x column (carrier #1) is turnedON first to
complete theseparationofH
