1.0 Introduction
Restek’sProFLOW6000Flowmeter is specificallydesigned forusewithgas chromatography (GC) systems.Theprobe is applieddirectly to the
gas flow stream and themeasured flow rate is presentedon theLCD screen.Units of flow aremeasured inmL/min.
Thisunitprovides continuous real-timemeasurementsof gas streams ranging from0.50 mL/min to500mL/min.Because the technologyuses
volumetric flowmeasurement, theunit is compatiblewithall laboratorygases.
CAUTION:DoNOTexceedmaximumoperating flowrates.
Recalibrationmayberequired if theunithasbeen
subjectedtoextreme flowrates.
Alwaysuseappropriate laboratorysafetypracticeswhen
operatingthisdevice.Wear laboratorysafetygoggleswhen
operatingthisunit.
NOTE:
There are no serviceable parts in this unit.Opening the
device—other than to change the batteries—or tamperingwith the
internal partswill void the factorywarranty.
NOTE:
To ensure accuratemeasurements and effective clearance of
the flow gas from the unit,DONOTobstruct the vent holes on the
back of the unit.
