The newSureFit™injectionport incorporates an innovative hexdesign
whichmakes aligning the split/splitlessweldment and shellweldment
easy andmakes installation and removal of liners trouble free. One
SureFit™shellweldment design allows the use of an inexpensive
replacement to the standardOEM inlet seals, and canbe easily cleaned
or replacedwhen severely contaminated. An alternativeSureFit™shell
weldmentwith a speciallydesigned fitting uses a standard¼” ferrule
to seal the base of theweldment.
The newSureFit™injection port uses a speciallydesignedVespel®/graphite
dual taper ferrule to seal the liner inside theweldment. The new ferrule design
eliminates the need formultiple graphite or fluorocarbon o-rings for different
GC liners and conditions tominimize chance of leaks.
TheSureFit™injector is Siltek®treated toprovide optimal inertness and
resistance to temperature andph extremes inside theGC system.
