all specifications.

This syringe conformance certificatesatisfies protocol requirements for syringes and provides
traceabilityback to InternationalStandards.
SGEsyringes are produced in a manufacturing environment that operates under a quality
management system that is independently certified in accordance with 1509001:2008. All
measuringequipment involvedinproductionprocessesiscalibratedandtraceableto international
standardsandrecordsaremaintained.ThroughadherencetoourqualitysystemrequirementsSGE
ensures thatdisplacement volumewillmeet our specificationfor accuracyand reproducibility.
Certificate of Calibration

SGEoffersafactorycalibrationservice, at anadditionalcost, for anysyringenominatedbyyouat
thetimeof purchase.ThesesyringesaresuppliedwithaCertificateofCalibrationprovidingvolume
conformanceand traceability. For identificationeachcalibrated syringe isuniquelynumberedand
markedwith thisnumber.
Many companies attempt to calibrate syringesbymeasuring themassof a dispensed volume.
Theaccuracy of thistechniqueisaffectedbymanyvariablessuchasweighingerrors, fluctuations
in environmental temperature, pressure and evaporation, as well as operator error. Unlike
competitors, whichusethesecalibration techniques, SGEusesasuperior techniqueof calibrated
volume based on the length and diameter of the syringe barrel. Using specialized measuring
equipment, SGE'scalibrationmethod has thehighest degreeof displacement volumeaccuracy
andprovides calibrationtraceability.
Toorder acalibrated syringesimplyadd 'CAL' to theendof thepart numberwhenordering. For

technique. Acalibrationfactorforeachsyringeisusedtoadjustthesoftwareinstructionscontrolling
themotor to compensate for any slight variations in the positively displaced liquid volume. The
