Tygon F-4040-A tubing has
been specially-formulated for
use in petroleum (and similar)
applications where other Tygon
blends cannot beused successfully. Thematerial offers someof the
lowest gaspermeability rates for atmosphericgases of all theTygon
blends,making it ideal for use in thoseapplicationswhere sensitivity
togaspermeation ishighorwhere vacuummaybeapplied.
Inaddition tobeingsuitable forhydrocarbon-basedapplications, this
material can alsobeused successfullywith low-concentration acidic
solutions aswell asmineral salt solutions.
Yellow-tinted, thematerialofferssomedegreeoftranslucency,however,
it isnot as transparent asmanyother Tygonblends.
