Additionally, all fittings on this page come pre-packaged with
appropriate ferrules (1/4-28 threadedfittingsarepackagedwithP-200
ferrules;however,theXLT-111—a10-32threadedfitting— ispackaged
withP-240 ferrules). Nuts are available in awide varietyofmaterials,
and replacement ferrulesareavailable inETFEandpolypropylene.The
designsofmany small, lowpressure valves incorporatemany shallow
ports.TheP-240 ferrule isdesigned toseal tightly insuchportsand the
specialsealingrignonthisferrulehelpsensureaminimumdead-volume
sealbetween the tubing, ferrule, andport. (Please refer toourwebsite,

Forhigherpressureand temperatureapplicationswhereaFlangeless
connection is desired, consider the Flangeless SealTight
™
Fitting
System.Bothfittingand ferrulearemanufactured fromPEEKpolymer;
additionally, the ferrulehasbeenspeciallyengineered to incorporate
thedual-compressionmechanismof theF-192SealTight ferrule in a
design that allows itsuse ina1/4-28flat-bottomport.
