Ferrules available for directly connecting 1/16”, 1/32”, 360µm,
or 190µmOD tubing
Two-PieceFingertight Fittings featurea separate ferrule.Witha two-
piecedesign, you can replace just the ferrule insteadof the entire
unit, making these Fingertights more economical than the one-
piece version. Use a standard knurled head fitting for traditional
fingertight applications, or useafittingwithwingsbuilt into thehead
for extra tightening leverage. A stainless steel hex headed fitting
can be used for applications where a wrenchmay be needed for
added tightening torque.
Toorder thefittings as shown to the right, simply reference thepart
numbers as indicated. To exchange the ferrule typically packaged
withourfittingswithoneofourspecialty ferrulesshownbelow, simply
replace the letter“x” in thepartnumberwitha“-01”,and thenspecify
the ferruleneededonaseparate line.Forexample, toorder theF-140
fittingwith theM-215 ferrule, specifyF-140-01andM-215 separately.

TheM-215Conductive Perfluoroelastomer Ferrule is designed for
mass spectrometer electrospray applications. Unlikemost graphite
ferrules, theelastomericpropertiesof this ferrule letyouuse it through
manytightening/retighteningcycles. Italsoeliminatesanypossibilityof
graphitecontamination inyour system. Likegraphite ferrules, youcan
apply voltage through ametallicport blockormetallic nut, allowing
voltage to translate to theflowpath through the ferrule.
