3. In thePrint window click on the
Format
button
for Print chromatogram to open up theChro-
matogram format window. Locate the
Chart
speed
dialoguebox and insert thenumber of
inches eachminuteon the chromatogramwill
takeupwhenprinted (for a nineminute run try
0.50
inches perminute). After theChart speed
is entered click on
OK
to exit thewindow.
4. In thePrint window locate thePrint report
check box and click on the
Format
button to
its right.
5. Once theReport format window is open click
on
External
in theAvailable dialoguemenu
(on the left) and then clickwith themouse cur-
sor on the right facingarrowbutton toaddEx-
ternal to theSelecteddialoguebox (on the
right). After External is added to theSelected
dialoguebox click on
Units
with themouse
cursor and click on the right facingarrowbut-
ton to addUnits to theSelected dialoguebox.
Click on
OK
with themouse cursor toexit out
of theReport format window.
6. Select
Print
in thePrint window to print the
chromatogramor click on
OK
in thePrint win-
dow to exit thewindow.
Exporting toExcel
1. In thePeakSimple toolbar click on the
Re-
sults
windowbutton toopen up theResults
window. Once theResultswindow is open
click on the
Copy
button to copy the results
data to theWindows clipboard.
2. Make sureMicrosoft Excel is loadedon the
computer. If Excel is not loaded you can copy
results dataand chromatograms toMicrosoft
Wordor PowerPoint.OpenupMicrosoft Excel
by clickingwith themouse cursor on the
Start
button in the bottom left of theWindows
screen and then
Programs
and then
Micro-
soft Excel
in theWindowsProgrammenu.
