1. DISMOUNTING/MOUNTINGOFTHEPISTON:
1.1Dismounting:
1.2Unlock safety turn-lock fastener by turningclockwise.
1.3Swingopen thedivisiblecolumn lockat the sealing joint.
1.4Removecartridge fromprotective jacket bypressing fixedpiston.
CAUTION! - dismounting of the endnut is not necessary.
1.5Mounting
1.6 Insert cartridge into protective jacket to stopper.
CAUTION! - Pay attention to safety turn-lock fastenerwhen cartridge is inserted!Posi-
tion the piston square correspondingly.
1.7Closedivisiblecolumn lock.
1.8Lock safely turn-lock fastener by turning it clockwise.
2. FRITREPLACEMENT:
2.1Eject old fritwith supplied frit ejector.
2.2 Insertionof new frit: The teflon® receptacle of the piston is protectedwhen it is heated
before thenew frit is pressed in (max. 121ºC).
3.MOUNTINGOFMPLC-FITTINGS:
Thesemounting instructions are for tubingwith1.6 and3.2mmouter diameter.
