Splitless Liners
Splitless liners are designed tohold the sample in the
liner between0.5 and2.0minutes. A large surface area
for sample vaporization is not a factor in splitless
injections.
It is common touse packingmaterialswhenever dirty
samples are analyzed. Liners packedwithwool help
promote sample vaporization, aswell as trap non-
volatile residue to prevent column contaminationwhich
ultimately increases column life.
