Abstract
Manypolar compounds are difficult to retainusing
conventional reversedphase columns, evenwith little or
noorganic solvent in themobile phase. TheUltra
AqueousC18 andUltra IBD columnswere designed to
provide enhanced retention and selectivity for highly
polar compounds in the reversedphasemode, aswell as
compatibilitywithhighly aqueousmobile phases. The
unique features of these columns are demonstrated in the
analyses of nutraceuticals, pesticides, and carboxylic
acids.
