Twoof theseproducts— theUH-432andUH-436— follow thedesign
ofourpopularMiniMicroFilters (seepage162)andallowaconvenient
unionbetweeneither 1/32”OD tubingor 360 µmOD tubing. Each
featuresastainlesssteelunionbodyandauniquestainlesssteelunion
capsule, enablingboth excellent chemical compatibility as well as
conductivity,making theseagreat choice for electrical interfacing in
certain LC-MSapplications. Each is also coupledwithdirect-connect
ferrulesmade fromourproprietaryPEEKpolymerblend (PK),allowing
tubing connections up to 15,000psi (1,034bar).

these connectors can be used at elevatedpressures, they are not
recommended for applications above100 ºC.)
TheUH-632 isamore traditionallydesignedconnector, incorporating
internally threadedports. The union (UH-632) features a true ZDV
(zero dead volume) connection between both tubes. This unique
product is coupled with our one-piece Ultra-High Performance
Fingertight fittingsmanufactured fromourproprietaryPEEKpolymer
blend, allowing them tobe used in high temperature applications
(up to 200 ºC) at pressures up to 6,000psi (414bar)—or use these
connectors at room temperatureup to15,000psi (1,034bar)!

withTrueZDVUnions toassistwithassembly.With thegaugeplug inserted
intoonesideof theunion, ahardstop iscreated for the tubing tobottom
outagainstas it isconnected to theoppositeport.Thegaugeplug is
removedand then thesecondpieceof tubing isconnected, using thefirst
pieceof tubing tobottomoutagainst resulting in the two tubes joined
together in thecenterof theunion.
