bebuilt intoanOEM system. Using
thewell-provenCheminert injector
designsand the24voltmotor from
ourpopularmicroelectricactuators,
theC52andC62needonly tobe
connected to the instrument'spower
supply.
Control is simplified to requirea single
contact closure; the injector’sposition
isdeterminedbywhether theclosure
isheldhighor low. There'sevenan
easyway for the instrument toconfirm
thevalve’spositionby sensing the
output fromabuilt-in sensor.
In thedefault controlmode,acontact
closuremoves the injector from load
to inject,where it remainsuntil the
contact isbrokenand the injector
reverts to the loadposition. A simple
jumper change shifts themode todual
contact closure, inwhichonecontact
closure shifts the injector to inject
anda second is required to shift it
back to load. Jumper settings canalso
bemodified tochange themotor’s
degreeof rotation so it canbeused
withanyof thevalvemodelsavailable.
All these featuresarebuilt intoa
compact and lightweightpackage
andareavailable in4,6,8,and10port
configurations.
ModelC3 isaunique injectorwith
a syringe injectionport centeredon
the rear faceof thevalve (opposite
thehandleor actuator),allowing
convenient syringe insertionwhen the
valve ismountedonanactuator inside
an instrument.
ModelC2V isdesigned specifically
foruse inanautosampler. It is like the
standardC2except that the sample
port isperpendicular to thevalveaxis.
Thispermits thevalveandactuator
tobe installedhorizontally,while the
syringe loads the injector vertically.
