All columnendfittingsare rated to
10,000psi. However, the functional
limit isdictatedby theyield strength
of the tubingusedwith thefitting.
Standard1/4",3/8",and1/2" columns
areusuallypackedat 8,000-10,000psi,
which is right at theyield strength for
the tubingcommonlyused. Columns
with1" IDhaveayield strengthof
6,000‑8,000psi,and thefittingwill not
hold if the systempressureexceeds
that limit.
Thenewest addition to the line is the
Nanovolume®columnendfitting.
