eliminating thepossibilityof crackingorunscrewing that canoccurwhenplastic
tubing is subjected to twistingasfittingsareconnected.
Cheminertflangelessfittings includeourpatented*collapsible ferruledesign.
This innovativedesignutilizesaone-piece ferruleengineered tocollapseas it
is tightened. Thecollapse takesplace inaverynarrowarea, resulting inavery
effective sealwithvirtuallynodistortionof the tubing IDandnodeadvolume.
Theassembly is ratedat 500psi liquidwhen tightenedbyhand. Sinceonly the
tubingand the ferrulecome intocontactwith the solution, the result isan inert
system. UseCTFE ferrules for soft tubing (PTFE,FEP,etc.),butusePEEK ferrules
forharder tubing (PEEK,ETFE,polyurethane,etc.)
Cheminert tubeendfittingsworkwithany1/16"or 1/8"ODpolymeric tubing,
andcome in twelvedifferent colors for systemcolor coding.
