The defaultdisplayperiodoptionsbox is
used todefine the default display limits for a
PeakSimple chromatogram. The Start informa–
tion field is used to specify the default beginning
limitswhile the End field is used to specify the
end to the default display limits. The start and
enddisplay limits canalso be adjusted by the left
and right arrows belowthe chromatogram inthe
main displaywindow.
Postrun file overwrite protection
Postrun fileoverwrite protection protectsa
saved file from being writtenoverwhen the auto–
increment feature is selected inthe Postrun win–
dow. Insteadofwriting over a used filename an
auto-incremented run
will
select the nextunused
number in the sequence to save the file todisk.
For example, if file TEST02.CHR already exists
on diskPeakSimplewill save the file as
TEST03.CHR.
Amounts belowan MOL of "X"
will
be reported as
"y
u
Peaks with a value belowa specified Minimum Detection Level or MOLwill be reported
aswhatever is specified in the second information field, typically
N/D
or not detected. The
number that is below theMOLwill not be reported, only the entry in the second information
fieldwill be seen.
Default data file path
Typically all PeakSimple files are saved to the PeakSimple directory but by enteringa
full directory path into the Default data file path information field another directory can be se–
lected to save files to.Note:
It
is recommended that users save all PeakSimple files to the
PeakSimple directory.
If
necessary export files to
a
different directory after saving them to the
PeakSimple directory.
Reset relays at end of run
The Reset relays at end of run checkboxwhen selected turns off all relays (A-H) at the
end of a chromatogram run. If the box is left unselected the relayswill not be shut off after a
chromatogram run.
Hardware loopback and Software loopback are used for systemvalidationandwill
bediscussed infurther detail in the Loopback test section.
