Method 5030/5035 Purge & Trap:
Changing thePurgeHeads
1. Tochange thepurgeheads, firstdisconnect the twopurgegas linesat theirfittingson the topof thefront
valveovenduct.
2. Ifyouare removing the5030purgehead,pull it
out toward thefrontof theGC,andunplug the5-pin
XLRdummyplug.
3. Ifyouareremovingthe
5035purgehead,squeeze
theprotruding tail of the
spring toward the heater
bodywithyour thumbas
youpullthepurgeheadout
towardthefrontoftheGC.
Unplug thecordfrom the
socketon theGC.
4. To install the5030purgehead, lineup thesecuring rodwith thehole, and
gentlybutfirmlypush it inuntil it locks intoplace. Connect thepurgegas inand
out lines to the fittingson the topof the front valveovenduct. Connect the
dummy5-pinXLRplug to thesocketon theGC.
5. To install the 5035 purge
head, hold the spring tail in a
downwarddirectionagainstthe
heater body as you slide the
securingrodintotheholeuntilit
locks(theshakerwillnotwork
withoutthespring). Connectthe
purgegas inandout lines to the
fittingson the topof the front
valveovenduct. Connect the
5-pinXLRplug to the socket
on theGC.
