Supplies for Shimadzu GCs
A Merlin Microseal septum provides
several distinct advantages: elimination
of septum coring, long lifetime, and
consistently low needle-insertion force.
The Microseal septum incorporates
two separate sealing mechanisms; these
sliding seals prevent septum coring and
the associated accumulation of septum
crumbs in the injection port liner. Installation is simple,
requiring no modification of the injection port.

inlet setpoint can vary by manufacturer. Restek recommends using only BTO® septa
in Thermo TRACE and Focus GCs.
