Manufacturing Consistency
Nordson MEDICAL is equipped with multiple injection
molding machines including plastic injection molding and
over molding including 2-shot and insert molding. Our
all-electric injection molding presses are chosen for shot-
to-shot consistency and outfitted with the most up-to-date
process monitoring software available. Each operator is
responsible for product quality at the press and has every
tool at their disposal. All molding, secondary operations and
packaging take place in a controlled environment to assure
component readiness for your production floor.
Rapid Prototyping
Nordson MEDICAL’s engineering department is a leader in
the industry. Using rapid prototyping and an in-house, high
performance 3D printer, we can utilize multiple resins to
provide certain material properties to components. We can
execute highly representative prototypes and build a mold
in two days, allowing us to deliver solutions with testable
parts in a short time.
We use a system to verify potential product performance
to expedite quality product design and development.
The use of several tooling technologies allows us to
incorporate innovative materials and processes to provide
plastic components in a fraction of the time it may take to
utilize metals.
We also execute detailed processes for evaluating
application requirements to ensure the design focuses on
ease of use, cost efficiency, design manufacturability, and
top notch performance.
Regulatory Management
Nordson MEDICAL strives to provide our customers with
the most up-to-date technical information, directly from the
resin manufacturer, on the resins we use. We maintain a
comprehensive list of all material and regulatory information,
enabling you to select the most appropriate products for
your particular application. Information we provide includes:
