With the publication of new ISO 80369 standards for small
bore connectors, Nordson MEDICAL is well positioned
to help you with your tubing connection needs. Our parts
are tested and documented to be compliant with this new
standard. Because Nordson MEDICAL’s Value Plastics
product line team has participated on the committees
deriving these standards, you can be assured of a full
understanding of the testing and compliance requirements.

Enteral Feeding
The new ISO 80369-3 standards for enteral and gastric
small bore connectors (also called ENFIT connectors) offer
a smaller, lightweight, smoother design for more comfort,
less snagging, and easier cleaning. Both the male connector
(patient side) and female connector (supply side), offer a one-
piece tethered cap for easy assembly and use. The standard
SKUs cover a wide range of tubing sizes, from 5 French to
10 French, with the easy ability to customize bond-in pocket
sizes for your specific tubing requirements. We offer a barbed
version for silicone tubing and all of the materials are medical-
grade resins to conform with biocompatibility requirements.
Our standard products are manufactured in natural resins
without color additives, however we can customize your
purchases with purple, orange, or other colors as required with
a 10,000 piece minimum order quantity. Our bond-in socket
connectors are standard in ABS and our barbed version is an
animal-free polypropylene material. These materials are well
proven in the medical field to sterilize and clean-up well, and to
offer chemical resistance for various foods, lipids, and drugs.
Extension Sets
ISO 80369-3 (ENFIT) compliant extension sets are also
available and can be customized to meet your specific
needs. We offer a variety of tubing diameter sizes, lengths,
and materials, with or without tethered caps. Please contact
