The multi-port system consists of a GLS 80
screw cap with four ports.The tubes are fed
through these ports and secured with inserts and
screw connections.There is a choice of 5 inserts,
each with different internal diameter depending
on the application. Unused ports can be fitted
with a blanking cap, if necessary. Sterile pressure
compensation can be achieved using the
membrane filter set (0.2 µm pore size).
The inserts and GL18 screw connections hold
the tubes securely in place, eliminating problems
caused by slippage, e. g. in HPLC plants.The
sealed cap system reduces evaporation of media
and keeps out impurities.
