The valvelesspumping function is accomplishedby the synchronous
rotationand reciprocationof theceramicpiston in thepreciselymated
ceramiccylinder liner.Onecompletepiston revolution is required for
each suction/dischargecycle.
Thepiston always bottoms formaximum fluid andbubble clearing.
Togetherwith thedrive speed the stroke volume, which canbepre-
setby theadjustmentof thepumpheadangle,determines theactual
flow rate.
