Restek’shigh-pressure in-line filter isa stand-aloneversionof theTrident™columnprotection system.
The filter is specifically designed for ease of use, low dead-volume, and flexibility. The filter has a
replaceable,PEEK®encapsulated316 stainless steel fritwitha surfaceareaof 12mm².The standard frit
shipped with the filter has a 2.0µm porosity; however, it may be replaced with an optional 0.5µm
porosity frit.Useof this filter can greatly extend column life, thereby reducing costs and savingmain-

ter elementshavea large (2.5cm²) surfacearea togive longoperating lifetime.Mounted in screw-type
adapters, they are easily removed for cleaning. Normally, backflushing and cleaning in an ultrasonic
bathwith an appropriate solventwill restore them. If theybecomepermanently clogged, replacement
elements are available.
Housings and all wettedparts are type 316 stainless steel. Filters are packagedwith appropriate gland
