SRI can supply and install just about any
type of column. We like the metal
capillary columns because they are
unbreakable, can be coiled to a smaller
diameter, yet cost and perform the same
as fused silica columns, which can and
do break.
For some applications such as gases,
freons, water and others, packed
columns are preferred.
The
on the SRI
can accommodate up to a single 7" column cage (5" is preferred) or
multiple columns wound on a smaller form. The column oven on the Model
and the dual column ovens on
the
can accommodate up to a single 4" column cage or multiple columns wound on a smaller coil.
The metal capillary columns supplied by SRI are typically wound on a 3.5" coil form and are available in a variety
of stationary phases.
