Glass fiber filters are made by 100% borosilicate glass, with retention levels extended into the submicron range.
These depth filters combine fast flow rate with high loading capacity and retention of fine particulates. The small
diameter fibers give micro glass media superior efficiency and dirt holding as compared to cellulose and synthetic
media. Besides prefilter, glass fiber can also be used in a wide variety of applications, such as water and air pollution
analysis, liquid clarification, and cell harvesting.
