Column installation andConditioning
Connect the column to the injector and
detector usinggraphite ferrules.
Turn on the carrier gas pressure.
If usingHeadjust pressure to1.0psig
If usingH2adjust pressure to2.0psig
Check the system for leaks usingan
electronic leak detector.
If system is leak free ramp the column
through one program cycle.
