phaseandhelps reducehazardouswaste.Theflatfilter element sitsparallel to
thebottomof the reservoir,allowing theLastDrop tofilter all but the last 2%
of themobilephase from the reservoirwithoutdrawingair into the system.
Compare thiswithconventional cylindrical filters that canbegin todrawair into
the systemwhennearly10%of the solvent remains in the reservoir.
TheLastDropmobilephasefilter consistsof a316 stainless steel,PTFE2.5µm,
or ahydrophobicPEfilter elementpressed intoan inertPTFEhousing.The topof thehousinghas
a1/4-28nut and ferruleor a steppedPEEKfittingconnectorwhich slips into1.5,2.2,or 3.5mm ID
pump inlet lines.
