Theheated syringecleaner isespeciallyuseful
for NanoVolume syringes where the entire
sample isconfined to the needle.

~ , Operation issimple. Inserttheneedlethrough
the septum into the heated zone, hold for
approximately 30 seconds and then pump the plunger a few times to vaporize contaminants
away. The devicewi ll accept needlesup to 1mmODand 100mm long.
The cleaner hasa very short warm-up period; it takesapproximately 20minutes to reach the
operating temperature (250 "C). The unit is thermostatically controlled for cont inuous use if
required.
A vacuum sourceof approximately 10Torr from a water pump or mechanical pump should
be connected to the unit.
